Fission Pro was designed as a tag based editor and has many features and options to assist you with your web development efforts. Fission has a similar look and feel as the xxxPad and Studio applications, so there is no learning involved to start using Fission. The editor includes complete undo and redo capabilities. Create projects to organize your source files Fission lets you create a project to organize all your source files. Auto-complete support for tags and stylesheets Fission includes a configurable auto-complete text feature that really increases your productivity. The auto-complete feature senses your typing, and will present you with a pick list of possible choices for the item being typed. When you pick an entry from the list, the remaining portion of text will be inserted in the document to complete the word. Fission is sensitive to tags, tag attributes, attribute values, stylesheets and special characters. Fully configurable tag definition Fission comes with a complete set of tag definitions for HTML and Cold Fusion. Fission gives you the ability to modify the custom tag definitions set any way you prefer. Add new tags, tag display colors, attributes, and allowable attribute values. Fission will be sensitive to the tag configuration settings during editing, and when using the auto-complete feature. Configurable quick-text toolbar Use the configurable quick-text toolbar buttons to store text you commonly type. When you click a quick-text toolbar button, the text defined for the button will be inserted into your document at the current cursor location. Fission comes pre-configured with many useful quick-text button definitions. Edit multiple documents at the same time Fission Pro allows you to edit multiple documents at the same time. Create a project to help organize your source code files. Two way split screen editing Fission Pro allows you edit documents using the split screen feature. You can split the screen in either of two ways.       HTML syntax checker Fission Pro includes a tag syntax checker option to help find errors in your source code. View image files during edit To view an image file during editing, place the cursor on a filename in the document, and use the view image option. The image file will be displayed in a window. Browser preview without saving Preview your document using your favorite browser at any time during editing, without having to save the document.
