3. Troubleshooting
This section is intended to help you with troubleshooting problems which may occur.
Question/Problem:
I just installed I/Talk and my microphone or speakers are not working.
Answer(s):
-Check that you actually have a microphone connected and operating on your computer?
-Reboot the computer. It is recommended to reboot the computer after installation, before using I/Talk.
-Use the Windows sound recorder to test that your microphone and speakers are functioning.
-If you have other programs running that use the microphone, could be a problem. Try stopping the other programs using the mic and try again.
Question/Problem:
I am running windows XP. I can call out, but I cannot receive incoming calls.
Answer(s):
XP has a built in firewall. Check your specific configuration to allow I/Talk access through the firewall.
Question/Problem:
How do I call a normal telephone with this package,
Answer(s):
You cannot. I/Talk is a PC-to-PC communications program.
