2.2.1.6. Job Alerts Tab

Shown below is the Job Alerts Tab. This tab is reached from the Job Detail Screen/Alert Tab option.


Use this tab to indicate alerts which should be raised when certain conditions occur.

Job Level Alerts are supported for: Job OK, Job Failed, Job Started, Job Running Too Long and Job Queued Too Long.

Use the Alert Definition screen of the batch scheduler manager program to define Alerts.

Job OK
When specified, this alert will be raised when the job completes successfully (ie. Job returns a valid return code).

Job Failed
When specified, this alert will be raised when the job fails (ie. Job returns a failing return code).

Job Started
When specified, this alert will be raised when the job begins execution on an Agent computer.

Job Running Too Long
When specified, this alert will be raised when the job run time exceeds the specified time limit.

Job Queued Too Long
When specified, this alert will be raised when the job is queued for longer than the specified time limit.
