Step Type - Batch

A Batch is a specific predefined sequence of Job Steps.

Use this Job Step Type to add a Batch step to a batch. This gives you the ability to start other batches from the current batch.

When you choose this option, you will be prompted to choose from the list of available Batch Definitions in the batch scheduler database. The Batch step will be added in the the last row grid position. Use Promote Step or Demote Step to move the position of the new step in the batch step sequence.
