2.7.1.1. Agent Details Screen
Shown below is the Agent Detail Screen.

Use this screen to edit the detail information for a specific Agent defined in the batch scheduler database.
Fields on this screen
Agent Name
The Agent Name is used to reference this specific agent from other parts of the batch scheduler system. Name is required and must be unique. Name can be up to 64 characters, no spaces.
Folder Name
Optional. Use this field to enter or select a Folder Group for this definition. Folder Groups are used to organize agent objects on the Agent Definition screen. When you specify a Folder Name, the icon for this agent will be located in a folder on the Agent Definition screen.
Operating System
Use this dropdown to select the type of Operating System this agent is running on. This agent will only attempt to run jobs defined for the selected Operating System.
Description
Use this field to enter a description for this Agent. Description can be up to 255 characters in length.
Only accept jobs from controller
This dropdown can be used to assign a specific controller for this agent. If a controller is specified here, the agent will only accept jobs from the controller specified.
Max Job Load
This field is used to enter the number of jobs that can run at the same time on an agent. The agent will not accept any more jobs once this entered limit has been reached at a given time.
Refresh Interval
This field is used to enter the refresh interval the agent uses to check for new jobs. This value is in seconds.
Menu options on this screen
Below is a description of the menu options available on this screen, and what they are used for.
File
Save Ctrl+S
This option saves any changes you have made to the draft file. This option will only be enabled when you have made a change to the detail information on the current screen. Changes are saved into the Draft file, and must be checked in to the batch scheduler in order to take effect.
Save And CheckIn
This option saves any changes you have made to the draft file and Checks In the changes to the batch scheduler.
Save As New Agent
This option lets you save the current information as a New definition. You must change the Name to a unique Name for this operation to be successful.
Validate Draft
This option validates the current open draft document. If errors exist, a message box will display detailing the errors found. You will not be able to check-in a draft which contains errors.
Close Agent Details Esc
Closes this screen. If changes to detail information have been made, you will be prompted to verify if you want to save or discard your changes.
Window
Allows you to rearrange or access the current open windows in the Manager.
