2.7.4. Database Configurations

Shown below is the Database Configurations screen.


Use this screen to manage the set of database configurations which are defined in the scheddb.cfg file. This screen can also be used to 'switch' between different databases. This might be useful when you have a production, test and development environment.

The entry shown in green is the current active entry.

Menu options on this screen
Below is a description of the menu options available on this screen and what they are used for.

File
New Configuration Ctrl+N
Adds a new Database Configuration Definition to the scheddb.cfg file. When you choose this option you will be presented with the Database Configuration Detail screen. Enter a name and choose a datasource. When done, choose the File/Accept menu option. The new entry will be added to the database configurations grid.

Open
Choose this option to open the selected Configuration in the grid for editing.

Set Active Config
Choose this option to make the currently selected grid entry the Active Database Configuration in use.

Delete Configuration Del
Deletes the selected Configuration from the scheddb.cfg file. You will be prompted to verify the delete request.

Close DB Configuration Esc
Closes this screen.

View
Refresh F5
Refreshes the information displayed in the grid.
