2.7.4.1. Database Configuration Details Screen

Shown below is the Database Configuration Details screen.


Use this screen to edit the detail information for a specific database configuration entry stored in the scheddb.cfg file.

Use the Test command to check the connection to the database using the DSN provided.

The Browse command can be used to choose a datasource from the list of datasources defined on the current computer workstation.

Fields on this screen
Configuration Name
Name of this Database Configuration record.

Batch Scheduler Datasource Name
This field is used to enter the ODBC datasource that is associated with this configuration.


Menu options on this screen
Below is a description of the menu options available on this screen and what they are used for.

File
Accept Changes Ctrl+S
This option saves any changes you have made to the information on this screen. This option will only be enabled when you have changed information.

Close Database Configuration Details Esc
Closes this screen. If changes have been made, you will be prompted to either save or discard your changes.
