2.7.9.1.Configure Views

Batch scheduler allows you to configure the contents of several screens within the system: Controller, Controller Monitor and the Popup display info on the Batch Viewer screen.

The following screen names support configurable columns:

BATCHMONINFO - Configures additional custom fields to display on the Console Monitor/Batch Viewer popup batch information display box.

CONTROLLER - Configures the batches display grid shown on the Controller program screen.

CONTROLLERMON - Configures the batches display grid shown on the Console Monitor/Controller/Controller Details screen.

The screen shown below can be reached from the Manager/Configure/System Settings/Configure Views command.


Use this screen to configure the fields that will be displayed for the selected screen name.

Fields and commands on this screen

Screen name selector
Use this drop down combo to choose the screen name to edit configuration for.

Available Fields grid
This grid displays a list of available fields that can be added to the display configuration.

Selected Fields grid
This grid display a list of the fields that are configured for the selected screen name. Each field may have a display name and default width.

Add field command (>)
Use this command to add a field from the available list into the selected list. The new field will be added to the end of the list. Use promote/demote to change the order of a field in the selected fields list.

Remove field command (<)
Use this command to remove a selected field from the selected fields list. To remove a field, click on the row in the selected fields grid, then click the remove field command.

Promote field command (+)
Use this command to move the position of a selected field entry up the list.

Demote field command (-)
Use this command to move the position of a selected field entry down the list.

Modify Display Settings
Use this command to change the display name or column width for the selected field in the selected fields list grid.

Save command
Use this command to save any changes made to the screen configuration.

Close command
Use this command to close this screen.


To modify a screen configuration:

Step 1:
Choose the screen name to modify using the drop down combo. Once selected, the screen will populate with available fields and already selected/configured fields for the screen.

Step 2:
Add, remove or position fields as desired in the selected fields list.

Step 3:
Use the save command to update your changes in the database.
