2.9.2. Import Database

Shown below is the Import Database screen.


Use this screen to import scheduling database components which have been previously exported using the Export Database utility of this Manager program.

Fields on this screen
Current DB Config
This field displays the current database configuration which is in use.

Import Directory
Use the browse command to select a location which contains files which were exported from the batch scheduler. Once selected, click the Load Grid command to load the list of components found in that location.

Initialize Database BEFORE Import
Check this checkbox to initialize the entire scheduler database before importing the files.

Menu options on this screen
Below is a description of the menu options available on this screen, and what they are used for.

File
Load Backup Set List
Loads the list of exported files found in the specified location.

Import selected objects
Performs the import function for all selected object in the grid.

Close Import Database Esc
Closes this screen.

Edit
Toggle Row Selection
Choose this option to select the current item shown in the grid. Only selected objects will be imported.

Select ALL
Choose this option to mark all objects as selected. Only selected objects will be imported.

Unselect ALL
Choose this option to unselect all objects in the grid.
