BOM Item Details Screen

The BOM Item Details screen is used to change the specific information for a grid entry in the Assembly Package/Bill Of Materials screen.



Fields on this screen


Inventory Item Name

Informational only. This field displays the item name of the defined material item.


Stock Item Number

Informational only. This field displays the stock item number of the defined material item.


Inventory Item Description

Informational only. This field displays the item description of the defined material item.


Quantity/UOM

Use this set of fields (Quantity/UOM) to indicate the amount of the material needed for this assembly package.


Material Request Lead Time

Use this set of fields to indicate the amount of lead time that the inventory manager should be notified prior to the scheduled step start date.

The Production Manager module takes material request lead times into consideration when scheduling a production order.
