Inventory Item Option Details Screen

The Inventory Item Option Details screen (shown below) is presented whenever you add or edit the setting for an Inventory Item Option.

Use this screen to set or change the settings for a specific option defined for an item.

The appearance of this screen will depend on the specific option type setting.

Option type - Simple Yes/No




Option type - List of options



You may add, change or remove option members from this list using the available menu options and buttons shown on this screen.

Once an option value is shown in the options list grid, you may change the values for the option by double clicking on the option list member shown in the grid.

When this is done, the Item Options Value Settings screen (shown below) will be presented.





Option type - Entered value




The name of the entered value option type can be incorporated into a Bill Of Materials quantity calculation in the Assembly Package defined for the item.

This option allows for the definition of an Assembly Package which has a variable material requirements list based on the option values entered during customer order entry.
