2.3.7.1. Barcode Label Designer

The Barcode Label Designer screen (shown below) is used to design the printed format for each Tracker label type.



Using the Barcode Label Designer

To add a new object to the current label template definition
First, click the mouse on the label at the location you would like to place the object.

Next, click on the command button for the object you would like to add to the label. There are three types of objects which can be added to a label: (Barcode, Field and Text).

Only one barcode is allowed on a label at a time.

Fields are available from the database for display on the label (available fields vary according to Tracker label type). When adding a field, you will be presented with a list of available fields. Enter the field number for the field you want to add when prompted.

Text can be added anywhere on the label.

To change the position of an object once it has been added
Click and Hold the mouse on the object to move then drag it to the desired new location and release the mouse button to complete the move.

To remove an object from the label
Click on the object to delete and then click the Remove command button.

To save changes
Click the save command button to accept any changes made to the label template definition.
