2.4.1. Customer Order Entry Screen

The Customer Order Entry screen (shown below) is used to manage customer accounts and customer orders.



How to use this screen

To add a new customer account
Click the Create a New Customer command button to add a new customer account to the database.

When this is done, a new customer is added and the Customer Account Maintenance screen will be opened for the new customer.

To open an existing customer account
Use the Locate a Customer command to open the Customer Search screen to find a customer account to open.


To create a new order for a customer
Use the Create a New Order command to enter a new customer order into the system.

A customer account must have been opened in order to use this command.


To view current orders for customer
Use the Customer Order Status command to view or edit existing orders for the current open customer account.


To change customer account information
Use the Customer Information command to view or edit account information for the current open customer account.
