2.5. Production Manager

This section of this document describes the Production Manager component of the Tracker system.



The Production Manager component of the Tracker system is used to schedule, track and monitor all production activities.

Production requests are generated when the amount of inventory for an item falls below predefined levels.

Use the Production Request screen to create production orders using the generated request records.

The Production Manager program works in conjunction with the Production Runner program (execution) to ensure timely production activities.

Scheduled Production Orders will appear on the Production Runner screen for action by production employees who actually do the work required to create products.



Shown below is the Production Manager screen.




The Production Manager screen has four (4) major functions: Production Requests, Production Orders, Production Order Status and View Schedule.

Use these commands to create, schedule and monitor all of your production processing activities.
